![]() ![]() Electropolishing Process: A Microscopic View The preferential removal of protruding portions of the surface structure leads to a smoother metal surface. In the process of electropolishing, burrs and other peaks of surface roughness attract greater electrical current density and erode first in a phenomenon known as anodic leveling.

![]() The expectation is that the majority of pupils will move through the programmes of study at broadly the same pace. They should also apply their mathematical knowledge to science and other subjects. The programmes of study are, by necessity, organised into apparently distinct domains, but pupils should make rich connections across mathematical ideas to develop fluency, mathematical reasoning and competence in solving increasingly sophisticated problems. Mathematics is an interconnected subject in which pupils need to be able to move fluently between representations of mathematical ideas. ![]()

Smaller motor (weaker torch), but relation 7:1 and total extruder weight of 119 grams (photo bellow). Nowadays there is a newer and lighter extruder in the market, the H2 from Biqu, just got one. Prints like a charm now (even flexibles). In retrospect I would recommend to start with a 3D-printed one. ![]() Also it's quite heavy and the included linear bearings are trash. There is also a aluminium head assembly on AliExpress, but be careful, you may have to modify (drill/mill) to get it working. I would also recommend to print everything from ABS or similar temperature stable. When greasing the gears please care not to accidentally grease the wheels that pull the filament. Therefore, I spread out a piece of paper, carefully disassembled the gears, and gently greased all the components. I found it to be an excellent grease even for use with linear rails. Luckily a few weeks ago I ordered the Super Pinda from PRUSA in order to test the accuracy compared to the mini IR sensor. Applying a little grease to the gears system will make the system work better, keep the gears longer and protect it from moisture in the long run. I noticed also that the Biqu doesn't bother to grease the gears before sending them out to customers and I found it very disturbing. I may be wrong, but it seems that the gears are made of black coated steel material that can rust over time due to moisture in the air. inside the package you will find:Īfter changing the heater block orientation and nuzzle I have started taking care of something else that was bothering me. Very neat, it came with instruction and a separate bag that contained all the other accessories and tools. The extruder came in an airtight custom box, lying comfortably in a soft material that kept it from being damaged. After a rather short wait, the packaging arrived. If there were alternatives in serial production, I guess the price would have been much lower than this. But when I bought it there was no reliable direct-drive alternative that weighs less than the H2 extruder. It wasn't cheap, $ 100 for the extruder is definitely expensive. So a long time ago I ordered the extruder. NTC 3950 100k Thermistor and a 24v Heater.
